My sister kindly bought tickets for Frozen Musical by Shiki Theatre Company for me and Cecilia. This is Japan's largest theatre companies and pretty popular. They own several theatres and this show was at the ’Spring' location. (Shiki in Japanese means four season, by the way).
We took train to the Tokyo Station and we took free shuttle to the theatre. The bus is called H2 Bus, which is an experimenting and promotional bus aiming towards to the goal '2050 Zero Carbon Cities in Japan'. The bus runs with hydrogen fuel, pretty cool.
At Tokyo Station, some ambassador was heading off to Imperial Palace and there were quite a few people and media folks outside. We could get to see someone riding on fancy car escorted by police cars. That was interesting.
We had a nice lunch before the show and headed off to the theatre.
Since Cecilia had an experience of being in Frozen Junior Musical by Angels on Stage, we were familiar with Frozen Musical version. As always, instant costume change of Elsa during 'Let It Go' was breath taking. The Elsa cast did amazing job of this song. Although the show was in Japanese, Cecilia knew the story and songs so she was super excited and enjoyed the entire show (so did my sister and me). Thank you sister!!!
