The day after the long flight, we decided to stay low key today. My younger sister Nami-chan came to check on us and help my mom. My mom participates in a senior wellness activity program which is provided by the City. She goes every Wednesday, mingling with other seniors and doing all sorts of physical and brain training activities for a couple of hours. My younger sister showed it to me how to prepare for this weekly trip so that I can assist my mom from next week. After my mom left, Nami-chan changed to Kimono to go to her Kimono-Dressing School. She got some certificates already and ultimately she hopes to dress foreigners in Kimono while she is providing Tour Guide Service. She dressed by herself very nicely, which was not easy. I still have difficulty putting on a kimono all by myself. I hope I can learn from her once I lose weight to be able to put on my current kimono (right now, I am too fat…)
After my mom came home, we headed to downtown Kichijo-ji for clothes shopping and stopped by the cafe in Tokyu Department Store and had a nice cake and coffee.
